Ok, well, I just got home from seeing Star Trek.  I have to admit, I went in with some trepidation, but I did enjoy this movie.  Yes, it was a reboot.  Yes, they redid everything we once knew about Star Trek.  Still though, the story was well done, the action was what I expect from a Star Trek film, and the effects were good.  Some people complained about too much lens flare.  Personally I didn’t notice, but eh, I tried to keep looking at the big picture instead of picking nits.

Will I see it again?  Of course, it’s trek.  Will I buy the movie on DVD?  Well no, I’ll get it on Blu ray.  I’m trying to convert my collection.

Anyway, see this movie.  It’s not the trek you knew before, but it is still good.  It has potential.  Keep an open mind when you watch.
